Section 33

SEC. 33. When a member of the city police is accused in court of any felony or violation of law or ordinance by the city fiscal, the mayor shall immediately suspend the accused from office in accordance with existing law pending the final decision of the case by the court. In case of acquittal, the accused shall be entitled to payment of the entire salary ho failed to receive during his suspension.
