The first paragraph of Section thirty is amended to read as follows: "SEC. 30 The City Engineer.—His powers and duties.— There shall be a city engineer who shall have charge of the Department of Engineering and Public Works. He shall concurrently be the ex officio district engineer of the Highway Engineering District comprising the Municipalities of Rapurapu, Manito, Daraga and Camalig. He shall receive a salary of not less than five thousand one hundred pesos per annum. He shall have the following duties:"
