Section 7

SEC. 7. The Mayor.-The Mayor shall be appointed by the President of the Philippines with the consent of theCommission on Appointments and shall hold office at the pleasure of the President. He shall receive a salary of four thousand eight hundred pesos per annum. With the approval of the President first had the Mayor may be provided, in addition to his salary, a non-commutable allowance of not exceeding two thousand pesos per annum.
