SEC. 13. Section Thirty-six of the said Act is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 36. Prescriptive Period for Appeals.— The decisions of the Commissioner of Civil Service may be appealed by the party adversely affected to the Civil Service Board of Appeals within thirty (30) days after receipt by him of the decision. "No petition for reconsideration of the decision rendered by the Commissioner of Civil Service shall be entertained if not filed within the period for appeal as provided in this section: Provided, That only one petition for reconsideration shall be entertained: And Provided, further, That the filing of a petition for reconsideration shall suspend the running of the period for appeal. "The Commissioner shall be informed by the appealing party of the dates mentioned in this provision."
