SEC. 2. The amount needed to cover the increase in the salaries for the above positions shall be chargeable against the appropriations for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven-nineteen hundred sixty-eight from the Highway Special Fund and the Portworks Special Fund. Notice of salary adjustment as herein provided shall be issued by the Secretary of Public Works and Communications to the officials concerned to implement the new rates of salaries provided herein without the necessity of new appointments. The positions in the Office of the Secretary of Public Works and Communications whose salaries have been fixed herein shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Acts for the ensuing fiscal years.
