Section 1

SECTION 1. A Philippine Tourist Bureau is hereby created under the Department of Commerce and Industry. The Bureau shall be headed by a Director to be appointed by the President of the Philippines with the consent of the Commission on Appointments. Until otherwise fixed by law, the salary of the Director shall be seven thousand two hundred pesos per annum. The Director, with the approval of the Secretary of Commerce and Industry, snail appoint such officers and employees as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
