Withdrawal or cancellation of certificates of candidacy.

SEC. 30. Withdrawal or cancellation of certificates of candidacy.—No certificates of candidacy duly filed shall be considered withdrawn or cancelled unless the candidate files with the office which received the certificate of candidacy or with the Commission, a statement of withdrawal or cancellation signed and sworn to by him at any time before the day of election. The certificate of candidacy shall be considered ipso facto cancelled from the moment the candidate concerned accepts, assumes or discharges any appointive office or employment in the government or in any government-owned or controlled corporation.
