Appointment and removal of officials and employees.

Section 18

SEC. 18. Appointment and removal of officials and employees.—The President of the Philippines shall appoint, with the consent of the Commission on Appointments, the judge and auxiliary judge of the municipal court, the city treasurer, the city attorney, the city engineer, the city health officer, the chief of police, the chief of the fire department, and the other heads of such city departments as may be created. Said officers shall not be suspended or removed except in the manner and for causes provided by law.
