Section 1

SECTION 1. When any member of the police force or fire department of a municipality is: Killed in line of duty, his heirs shall be entitled to a compensation of one thousand pesos plus two hundred pesos for funeral expenses; Totally disabled in line, of duty, he shall be paid his salary for a period of six months and twenty percent of his monthly salary thereafter; Partially disabled in line of duty, he shall be entitled to his salary during the period of his confinement but in no case to exceed six months.
