SEC. 10. Purchase of locally manufactured furniture equipment, supplies and materials.—All appropriations for the purchase of furniture, equipment, supplies and materials authorized in this Act shall be available only for locally manufactured furniture, equipment, supplies and materials except when none is available in the market: PROVIDED, That the prices, quality being: equal, for the locally manufactured furniture, equipment, supplies and materials shall not exceed the prices for the imported furniture, equipment, supplies and materials, the provisions of existing law to the contrary notwithstanding.
