Section 2

SEC. 2. The purpose of the said State College shall be to provide effective technical-vocational instruction and training in industries, agriculture and fishery, in cooperation with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) required for immediate entry into occupations consistent with the manpower requirements of the region. It shall also provide opportunities for higher education in the fields of technology, teacher education, physical and natural sciences, agriculture, fishery, engineering, forestry, marine sciences and special programs to support research, extension services and income generating activities.
