s 27 Disinfection of person and clothing
27.—(1) An authorised officer may require the disinfection of the body and clothing of any person who has been in contact with or in charge of or attended upon any animal or bird infected with or in the opinion of the authorised officer infected with disease.
(2) Any person who, without lawful excuse, fails to comply with any requirement under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
