s 38 Dishonest misappropriation of service property

38. Any person who —(a) steals or dishonestly misappropriates any service property or any property belonging to a person subject to this Act or is concerned in the stealing or dishonest misappropriation of any such property; or (b) receives any service property or property belonging to a person subject to this Act knowing it to have been stolen or to have been dishonestly misappropriated, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or any other punishment authorised by this Act.
