s 60 Arrested person to be informed of alleged offence
60. A person exercising a power of arrest must inform the person he or she is arresting at the time of the arrest, in ordinary language, of the nature of the charge upon which the person is being arrested, unless it is not reasonably practicable to do so or unless the reason for the arrest is obvious in the circumstances.
