s 40 Sales and leases on behalf of minor owner
40.—(1) Where a person in his own right seised of or entitled to any land is a minor, the land shall be deemed to be a settled estate within the Settled Estates Act 1934.[7/2009]
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply in the case of a lease not exceeding 3 years which is executed by a minor who has attained the age of 18 years as a principal.[7/2009]
