s 76 Regulations
76.—(1) The Minister may make regulations necessary or expedient for carrying out the purposes and provisions of this Act (other than Division 1A of Part 5).[Act 37 of 2022 wef 01/01/2024] (2) Without limiting subsection (1), the Minister may make regulations for or with respect to all or any matter in the Fifth Schedule. (3) Regulations may make different provisions for —(a) different persons or business facilities; (b) different classes of persons or business facilities; or (c) different circumstances. (4) The Minister may, in making any regulations, provide that any contravention of any provision of the regulations shall be an offence punishable with a fine not exceeding $50,000 or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or with both.
