s 256B Personal attendance of person subject to proceedings under this Division may be dispensed with

256B.—(1) Subject to subsection (2), in any court proceedings under this Division, the court may dispense with the attendance of a person subject to those proceedings if the court is satisfied that it would be in the interests of justice to do so in light of the person’s state of mind or physical or mental condition.(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to any proceedings under this Division in which the person is required to be produced before the court.[Act 5 of 2024 wef 14/02/2025] —(1) Subject to subsection (2), in any court proceedings under this Division, the court may dispense with the attendance of a person subject to those proceedings if the court is satisfied that it would be in the interests of justice to do so in light of the person’s state of mind or physical or mental condition.
