s 381 Procedure when appellant in prison

381.—(1) If the appellant is in prison, he or she is deemed to have complied with the requirements in sections 377 and 378 if he or she gives to the officer in charge of the prison, either orally or in writing, a notice of appeal and the particulars to be included in the petition of appeal within the times prescribed by those sections.(2) Such officer must immediately forward such notice and petition or their purport to the Registrar of the Supreme Court or the Registrar of the State Courts, as the case may be.[5/2014] —(1) If the appellant is in prison, he or she is deemed to have complied with the requirements in sections 377 and 378 if he or she gives to the officer in charge of the prison, either orally or in writing, a notice of appeal and the particulars to be included in the petition of appeal within the times prescribed by those sections.
