s 109 Contributions by parents or guardians
109. Where an order has been made by a Youth Court under any of the provisions of this Act committing a child or young person to the care of a fit person, or sending the child or young person to a juvenile rehabilitation centre, place of detention, place of safety or place of temporary care and protection, it is the duty of a parent or guardian or other person having the custody of the child or young person to make contributions in respect of the maintenance of the child or young person.[83
