s 42 Grounds for refusal to authorise unregistered teacher
42. The Director-General may refuse to authorise the employment of an unregistered teacher —(a)
on any of the grounds on which he would have been entitled to refuse to register a person as a teacher under section 38(a) to (g); or
(b)
if there is available for employment in the school concerned a suitable registered teacher.[8/97]
