s 30 Possession of obscene films
30.—(1) Any person who has in his or her possession any obscene film shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.[25/2018] (2) Any person who has in his or her possession any obscene film knowing or having reasonable cause to believe the film to be obscene shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction —(a) to a fine not exceeding $40,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both; and (b) in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $80,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.[25/2018]
