s 47 Withdrawal or amendment of application
47.—(1) The applicant may at any time withdraw the applicant’s application for registration of a geographical indication. (2) An application for registration of a geographical indication may be amended, at the request of the applicant, only by amending —(a) the name or other particular of the applicant;[Act 7 of 2022 wef 26/05/2022] (b) errors of wording or of copying; or (c) obvious mistakes, and then only where the amendment does not substantially affect the identity of the geographical indication.
