s 45 Service of notices or documents
45. Any notice or document required or authorised to be served on or given or sent to an owner or hirer or any person under this Act shall be deemed to be duly served or given or sent if it has been —(a)
delivered to him personally;
(b)
left at his place of residence or business with some other person apparently an inmate of or employed at that place of residence or business and apparently of or over the age of 16 years; or
(c)
posted by registered post addressed to him at his last known place of residence or business.
