s 17D Interest for failure to pay claim amount
17D. If any part of the claim amount is not paid by the recipient within the payment period, the recipient must pay to the Authority, in addition to the amount not paid, interest at the prescribed rate on the outstanding claim amount calculated on a daily basis from the end of the payment period to the date the claim amount is paid to the Authority in full (called in this Division the interest).[Act 11 of 2024 wef 01/11/2024]
