s 116 Provisional notification of caveats
116. Where a caveat is lodged with the Registrar and before it has been accepted by the Registrar as being in order for notification, the Registrar must —(a) if the caveat relates to land not yet brought under the provisions of this Act — provisionally enter the particulars thereof in the Caveat Index; (b) if the caveat relates to a manual folio — provisionally enter the particulars thereof on the folio; and (c) if the caveat relates to a computer folio of the land‑register — provisionally enter the particulars thereof in the Caveat Index and on the folio.
