s 3 Establishment of MediShield Life Scheme
3.—(1) A medical insurance scheme, known as the MediShield Life Scheme, is established for the purpose of paying the whole or part of the costs incurred by an insured person for any approved medical treatment or services that is a claimable medical treatment or services received by the insured person from an approved medical institution during the period when the insured person is insured under the Scheme.[Act 40 of 2024 wef 01/04/2025] (2) The Board is to administer the Scheme in accordance with this Act. (3) The Scheme applies to every person who is a citizen or permanent resident of Singapore.
