s 61 Proceedings conducted by officers of Medical Council

61. Despite the provisions of any written law, a legal officer of the Medical Council who has been admitted as an advocate and solicitor under the Legal Profession Act 1966* may —(a) appear in any proceedings under this Act or any other civil proceedings involving the Medical Council in the performance of its functions or duties under any written law; and (b) make and do all acts and applications in respect of any proceedings under this Act or any other civil proceedings, on behalf of the Medical Council.[Act 34 of 2020 wef 01/07/2022] [*Updated to be consistent with the 2020 Revised Edition]
