s 16 Penalty for breach of restraining order
16.—(1) Any person who contravenes any provision of a restraining order (including one as confirmed, varied or extended) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both and, in the case of a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both.[Act 31 of 2019 wef 01/11/2022]
