s 15 Notification of crew list
15.—(1) A shipowner and the master must notify the Authority, in the prescribed manner, of the details of seafarers who are employed on a ship on the following occasions:(a) when the ship is registered, provisionally or otherwise, under Part 2 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995; (b) when a seafarer’s employment agreement is entered into with any seafarer; (c) when any term of the seafarer’s employment agreement of a seafarer employed on the ship is altered; (d) when a seafarer is discharged from the ship. (2) Any shipowner or master who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
