s 3 Application of this Act
3.—(1) Except as otherwise expressly provided, this Part and Parts 1 and 11 apply to —(a) all Singapore ships ordinarily engaged in commercial activities wherever they may be; (b) all ships, not being Singapore ships, in Singapore, whether publicly or privately owned, ordinarily engaged in commercial activities; and (c) all seafarers employed on ships mentioned in paragraph (a) or (b). (2) Except as otherwise expressly provided, Parts 3 to 7 and 9 apply to —(a) all Singapore ships ordinarily engaged in commercial activities wherever they may be; and (b) all seafarers employed on ships mentioned in paragraph (a).
