Merchant Shipping (Wreck Removal) Act 2017 s 13

s 13 Extinguishment of claims

13. An action to recover costs incurred under section 10 may not be brought unless the action is commenced on or before the earlier of the following:(a) the end of the period of 3 years after the date on which the notice by the Director is given under section 7; (b) the end of the period of 6 years after the date of the maritime casualty which resulted in the wreck.
