s 4 Common seal
4.—(1) The common seal of the Council must be kept in such custody as the Council may direct.[Act 3 of 2026 wef 01/08/2026] (2) All deeds, documents and other instruments requiring the seal of the Council must —(a) be sealed with the common seal of the Council; and (b) be signed by the Chairperson and the Chief Executive Officer or some other person duly authorised by the Council for the purpose.[Act 3 of 2026 wef 01/08/2026] (3) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially are to take judicial notice of the common seal of the Council affixed to any document and presume that it was duly affixed. (4) Section 11 of the Registration of Deeds Act 1988 does not apply to any instrument purporting to have been executed under subsection (2).
