s 42 Part 5 direction — self‑initiated cancellation or substitution
42.—(1) The Commissioner may at any time, on his or her own initiative —(a)
cancel a Part 5 direction;
(b)
vary a Part 5 direction; or
(c)
substitute a Part 5 direction with a Part 5 direction of a different type.
(2) Where a Part 5 direction is cancelled under subsection (1)(a), written notice of the cancellation must be given to every person who has been given that Part 5 direction.
