s 26 Exemptions
26.—(1) This Act does not apply to any warship, naval auxiliary or other ship owned or operated by a State (including the Government) and used for the time being, only on government non-commercial service.
(2) The Minister may in his or her discretion exempt any ship or person from any of the provisions of this Act or any regulations made under this Act.
(3) Any exemption granted by the Minister under subsection (2) may be granted subject to such conditions as the Minister thinks fit and the exemption does not have effect unless those conditions are complied with.
