s 5 Person throwing pollutants into Singapore waters
5. Any person who puts, throws, casts or deposits into Singapore waters, or causes to be put, thrown, cast or deposited thereinto, any oil, oily mixture, refuse, garbage, plastics, waste matter, carcase, noxious liquid substances, marine pollutant in packaged form or trade effluent, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.[26/2017]
