s 4 Council is body corporate
4. —(1) The Public Transport Council is re-constituted as a body corporate with perpetual succession, capable of all of the following by that name: ( a ) suing and being sued; ( b ) acquiring, holding and disposing of movable and immovable property; ( c ) doing and suffering all acts and things that a body corporate may by law do and suffer. [31/2015] (2) The Council must have an official seal, which may be broken, changed, altered or made anew as the Council thinks fit. [31/2015] (3) All deeds and other documents requiring the seal of the Council must be sealed with the official seal of the Council. [31/2015] (4) Every instrument to which the official seal of the Council is affixed must be signed — ( a ) by any 2 members of the Council generally or specially authorised by the Council for the purpose; or ( b ) by one member of the Council and the Chief Executive. [31/2015] (5) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially must take judicial notice of the official seal of the Council affixed to any document and must presume that it was duly affixed.
