s 68 Recovery of sums payable
68. —(1) Where any fee, contribution, financial penalty or other sum payable under this Act remains due and unpaid by a licensee, the Council may require the licensee to pay interest thereon at the prescribed rate, and any such fee, contribution, financial penalty or other sum, and any interest thereon, may be recovered by the Council in any court of competent jurisdiction as if they were simple contract debts. (2) The licensee’s liability to pay is not affected by the licensee’s licence ceasing (for any reason) to be in force.
