s 7 Authorised officer to declare office
7.—(1) Every authorised officer when acting against any person under this Act must on demand declare his or her office and produce to the person against whom he or she is acting such identification card as the competent authority may issue to that officer. (2) It shall not be an offence for any person to refuse to comply with any request, demand, order or direction made or given by any authorised officer acting or purporting to act under this Act if the officer refuses to declare his or her office and produce his or her identification card on demand being made by that person.
