s 10B When General Division is open
10B.—(1) Subject to subsection (2), the General Division is to sit on every day of the year except on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.[40/2019]
(2) Despite subsection (1), a Judge may lawfully sit on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday or during a vacation prescribed under section 7 if —(a)
the Chief Justice has directed the Judge to sit on that day or during that vacation; or
(b)
in the opinion of the Judge, the business to be despatched is extremely urgent.[40/2019]
