In section 2(1)(a) of the Nuclear Industry (Finance) Act 1977 (which imposes a limit of Β£300 million on the commitment of public finance to British Nuclear Fuels Limited and gives power, which has been exercised, to raise the limit to Β£500 million) for the words βΒ£300 millionβ and βΒ£500 millionβ there shall be substituted respectively the words β Β£1,000 million β and β Β£1,500 million ββ.
