In section 2(1)(a) of the Nuclear Industry (Finance) Act 1977 (which imposes a limit of £300 million on the commitment of public finance to British Nuclear Fuels Limited and gives power, which has been exercised, to raise the limit to £500 million) for the words “£300 million” and “£500 million” there shall be substituted respectively the words “ £1,000 million ” and ‘ £1,500 million ”’.
