Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Personal Pension Schemes (Deferment of Commencement) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 15th December 1987.

Section 2Revocation
The Personal Pension Schemes (Appropriate Schemes) Regulations 1987 are hereby revoked.
Section 3Amendment of the Pension Schemes (Voluntary Contributions Requirements and Voluntary and Compulsory Membership) Regulations 1987
Regulation 2(2) of the Pension Schemes (Voluntary Contributions Requirements and Voluntary and Compulsory Membership) Regulations 1987 shall be amended by substituting for the date “4th January 1988” the date “1st July 1988”.
Section 4Amendment of the Personal and Occupational Pension Schemes (Incentive Payments) Regulations 1987
Sub-paragraphs (2)(b) and (3)(b) of regulation 2 of the Personal and Occupational Pension Schemes (Incentive Payments) Regulations 1987 shall be amended in each case by substituting for the date “3rd January 1988” the date “5th April 1988”.
