Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Fishing Boats Registry) (Amendment) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 17th March 1988.

Section 2

Article 5 of the Merchant Shipping (Fishing Boats Registry) Order 1981 shall be replaced by the following:—

(5) A register in the form specified in Schedule 2 hereto with a consecutive series of numbers shall be kept in respect of each port of registry.
