Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Deregulation (Sunday Dancing) Order 2000.
(2) This Order shall come into force at the end of one week beginning with the day on which it is made.
(3) This Order does not extend to Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Section 2Dancing on Sundays

The entertainments and amusements to which the Sunday Observance Act 1780 applies do not include dancing by members of the public or any musical or other accompaniment to such dancing.
