Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2000 and shall come into force on 5th April 2000.

Section 2 Amendment of NHS trust Establishment Order

For article 3 of the Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993 (nature and functions of the trust) there shall be substituted the following article—

Nature and functions of the trust

(1) The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1) of the Act.

(2) The trust’s functions shall be to provide goods, hospital accommodation and services and community health services, at or from the following hospitals, establishments or facilities for the purposes of the health service, namely,

(a) Wesham Park Hospital, Derby Road, Wesham, Preston PR4 3AL;

(b) Rossall Hospital, Westway, Rossall, Fleetwood, Lancashire FY7 8JH;

(c) The site at Kincraig Road, Blackpool FY2 0HF,

and at or from any associated hospitals, establishments and facilities.
