Section 1Citation and Commencement
This Order may be cited as the Contracting Out (Functions in relation to the Management of Crown Lands) Order 2003 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2Contracting out of functions
The functions now vested in the Secretary of State under section 22 of the Crown Lands Act 1851 in relation to Hampton Court Gardens, Green, and Road and Hampton Court Park and Kensington Gardens may be exercised by, or by employees of, such person (if any) as may be authorised in that behalf by the Secretary of State.
