The Local Government Act 2000 (Commencement) (Wales) Order 2000 (S.I. 2000/2948 (W.))

This order brings certain provisions of the Local Government Act 2000 (β€œthe Act”) into force in relation to Wales on 1st November 2000. Those provisions confer powers on the National Assembly for Wales and, in one case (section 44), on the Secretary of State.

(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 2000 (Commencement) (Wales) Order 2000. (2) In this Order β€œ the Act ” means the Local Government Act 2000.
art 2Provisions coming into force on 1st November 2000Open β†—
