The Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/3382 (W.))
Under Part II of Schedule 8 to the Local Government Finance Act 1988 billing authorities in Wales are required to pay amounts (called non-domestic rating contributions) to the National Assembly for Wales. Rules for the calculation of those amounts are contained in the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (Wales) Regulations 1992.

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 31st December 2000.
(2) In these Regulations “the 1992 Regulations ” means the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (Wales) Regulations 1992 .
In relation to financial years beginning on or after 1st April 2001, Schedules 1, 2 and 4 to the 1992 Regulations are amended as follows:—
(a) in paragraph 4(1) of Schedule 1, for the formula “(A × £39.90) + (B × 0.00078)” there is substituted the formula “(A × £39.50) + (B × 0.00087)”;
(b) in paragraph 2(12) of Schedule 2 for “1.005” there is substituted “1.004”;
(c) in paragraph 8(1) of Schedule 2, for “1.2 per cent” there is substituted “1 per cent”; and
(d) for Schedule 4 to the 1992 Regulations there is substituted the Schedule set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
