Section 1 Citation interpretation and application

(1) This Order may be cited as the Adoption and Children Act 2002 (Commencement No.1) (Wales) Order 2003.

(2) In this Order —

“the Act” (“ y Ddeddf ”) means the Adoption and Children Act 2002;

(3) This Order applies in relation to Wales.

Section 2 Appointed day

1st February 2003 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 16 of the Act.
