Section 1Name and interpretation
(1) This Order is called the Police Reform Act 2002 (Commencement) (Wales) Order 2003.
(2) In this Order, “the 2002 Act ” means the Police Reform Act 2002.

Section 2Commencement
Sections 97 and 98 of the 2002 Act (crime and disorder reduction partnerships and the National Assembly for Wales’s role in relation to strategies) are to come into force on 1st April 2003 so far as they relate to local government areas in Wales.
