The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2005

Section 1 Title, commencement and application

(1) This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2005 and comes into force on 1 April 2005.

(2) This Order applies to Wales only.

Section 2 Amendments to the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978

(1) The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978 (“the 1978 Order ”) is amended in relation to Wales in accordance with 'the following provisions of this article.

(2) In paragraph (2) of article 6 of the 1978 Order (which specifies the date until which disinfectants subject to transitional provisions remain approved), for “31st August 2003” there is substituted “30 June 2005”.

(3) For Schedule 1 to the 1978 Order (which lists approved disinfectants) there is substituted Schedule 1 to this Order.

(4) For Schedule 2 to the 1978 Order (which lists disinfectants subject to transitional provisions) there is substituted Schedule 2 to this Order.

Section 3 Revocations

The following are revoked —

(a) Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2001 ;

(b) The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment)Order 1999 to the extent that it relates to Wales.
